Les technologies membranaires garantissent une consistance in\u00e9gal\u00e9e dans la qualit\u00e9 des eaux trait\u00e9es.<\/p><p>Dans les campagnes disposant de peu de moyens techniques et humains, les technologies membranaires, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur fiabilit\u00e9 et leur simplicit\u00e9 d\u2019exploitation, permettent d\u2019atteindre \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr les recommandations de l\u2019OMS en termes de qualit\u00e9 microbienne et chimique de l\u2019eau de boisson.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fc12ae3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fc12ae3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau, contexte g\u00e9ographique et appr\u00e9ciation des co\u00fbts<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d767eb8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d767eb8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Plus de 60% de la population africaine vit en milieu rural. Compte tenu de l\u2019insalubrit\u00e9 des eaux de surface, ce sont les eaux souterraines (puits, forages, etc.) qui sont tr\u00e8s souvent consomm\u00e9es. Dans les zones (semi) arides et d\u00e9sertiques, les d\u00e9cideurs optent pour l\u2019installation de ch\u00e2teaux d\u2019eau \u00e9quip\u00e9s de pompes (solaires) pour assurer le stockage et la distribution de cette eau brute. Pourtant ces montages co\u00fbtent plus chers que les technologies membranaires sans garantir la potabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau.<\/p><p>Au Mali, dans la r\u00e9gion de Douentza, le Centre National pour l\u2019Energie Solaire a estim\u00e9 \u00e0 80.000 USD le co\u00fbt d\u2019installation d\u2019un ch\u00e2teau d\u2019eau (r\u00e9servoir de 15 m3 ; pompe solaire ; profondeur de forage de 60 m\u00e8tres) construit pour une population de 1.000 habitants. Ces co\u00fbts d\u00e9passent ceux des technologies membranaires de m\u00eame capacit\u00e9 (10.000-30.000 USD) et la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau distribu\u00e9e par ces ch\u00e2teaux n\u2019offre aucune garantie de potabilit\u00e9 !<\/p><p>Les techniques de filtration membranaire (micro- et ultrafiltration) se substituent au forage l\u00e0 o\u00f9 l\u2019eau de surface est disponible (rivi\u00e8re, mare, oasis, etc.) Lorsque l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau n\u2019est possible que par un forage, les technologies membranaires de nanofiltration\/osmose inverse compl\u00e8tent id\u00e9alement celui-ci. L\u2019investissement du forage est \u00e0 tout coup rentabilis\u00e9 m\u00eame si l\u2019eau est saum\u00e2tre ou contient des contaminants chimiques toxiques (fluor, arsenic, nitrates, exc\u00e8s de sel). Sinon, la seule alternative est d\u2019abandonner le forage. Le forage peut ainsi \u00eatre fait au plus pr\u00e8s du lieu de vie de la communaut\u00e9 sans avoir \u00e0 optimiser le pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement dans la couche g\u00e9ologique. En ce moment ceci se fait au prix de distances parfois consid\u00e9rables pour transporter l\u2019eau et la probabilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9ussite n\u2019est jamais enti\u00e8re.<\/p><p>Certains forages abandonn\u00e9s pour cause d\u2019eau contamin\u00e9e chimiquement peuvent \u00eatre ressuscit\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce aux technologies membranaires. Effectivement, les technologies membranaires offrent la possibilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement les distances pour l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable. Ainsi, les enfants et adultes qui vont chercher l\u2019eau peuvent \u00e9conomiser des kilom\u00e8tres de marche et se consacrer \u00e0 d\u2019autres activit\u00e9s \u2013 telles que se rendre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-801864e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"801864e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Arrangement modulaire des technologies membranaires et couplage avec les \u00e9nergies renouvelables<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-839cb9c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"839cb9c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Le caract\u00e8re modulaire des technologies membranaires est parfaitement adapt\u00e9 aux distributions d\u00e9mographiques tr\u00e8s larges que l\u2019on retrouve en Afrique.
